BPM Debuts DNlite-IVD103 at the 57th ERA-EDTA Congress

The 57th European Renal Association-European Dialysis and Transplant Association (ERA-EDTA) Congress, a globally recognized premier event for kidney disease treatment and scientific exchange, will officially commence its first-ever four-day virtual exhibition on the 6th (European Time). Bio Preventive Medicine Corp. ("BPM"), an innovative professional in vitro diagnostic (IVD) manufacturer, is making its debut at the congress to showcase DNlite-IVD103—the world's first innovative diagnostic kit for the precision management of Diabetic Kidney Disease (DKD). By engaging directly with the European medical community, BPM is poised to seize a crucial early-mover advantage.

Major Breakthroughs in Germany and Austria

Following the acquisition of the CE IVD mark earlier this year, DNlite-IVD103 has garnered intense interest from regional distributors, pharmaceutical companies, and testing centers. Ahead of the official opening of the ERA-EDTA Congress, BPM has already achieved a major breakthrough in the European market.

This month, the company signed a partnership agreement with an Austrian distributor, with initial shipments scheduled to arrive in Europe by mid-month. These kits will provide leading diabetes centers in Germany and Austria with their first trial and collaboration opportunities. Given that Germany is the largest and most advanced healthcare market in Europe, successful adoption here will serve as a powerful catalyst and benchmark for driving uptake across other EU member states.

Dr. Karen Tseng, Chairman and CEO of BPM, further noted: "In addition to the European market authorization, regulatory approvals in Malaysia and Singapore are also anticipated shortly. Engaging with potential clients at this congress will significantly broaden the scope of our product's international rollout."

Targeting Nephrology Experts at ERA-EDTA

Dr. Tseng emphasized that the ERA-EDTA Congress gathers nephrologists, scholars, clinical researchers, and multidisciplinary kidney care experts from around the world, with approximately 60% of attendees hailing from Europe. A primary focus of this year's congress is the prevention and treatment of DKD, aligning perfectly with the precise target audience for BPM's flagship product.

Through a 24-hour virtual Q&A platform, BPM aims to provide physicians with an in-depth understanding of DNlite-IVD103. The ultimate goal is to bridge the current gap in DKD management, empowering doctors and diabetic patients to collaboratively formulate proactive disease management plans, thereby dramatically improving the quality of patient care and life.

Accelerating Global Licensing at BIO 2020

Immediately following the ERA-EDTA Congress, BPM will participate in the biotechnology industry's premier business partnering event, the BIO International Convention (BIO 2020), which will be held virtually from the 8th to the 12th (US Time). The primary objective is to catalyze subsequent international licensing partnerships and strategic collaborations.

Capitalizing on a Massive $1.6 Billion Market Opportunity

By sequentially showcasing its flagship product, DNlite-IVD103, at two major medical and business conventions in Europe and the US, BPM is well-positioned to preemptively capture a share of the global DKD early detection market, which boasts an annual value exceeding NT$50 billion (approx. $1.6 billion USD). This dual-pronged strategy is expected to rapidly propel the company's operations into a highly profitable "harvest period" in the second half of the year.
